Lyn Burnham | practice manager & reception

 

After years in corporate Lyn joined the practice to manage the practice. Lyn oversees the daily running of the practice including the appointments and invoicing for all the doctors. Lyn’s main focus is to keep the practice running smoothly and harmoniously and most importantly keeping the garden looking beautiful.

Rob Beffa | chiropractor

 

Rob qualified as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1997 and has worked in Italy and the UK before returning to SA. Rob started the practice in 2002. His focus is on human movement, function, performance and injury prevention. He has post graduate Chiropractic qualifications in Neurology, Sports Injuries and Extremities and is a registered member of the General Chiropractic Council (UK) and is an active member of ChiroSport and the Chiropractic Association of SA (CASA).  Rob believes in a holistic approach to injury management and prevention including lifestyle modification, exercise rehabilitation and diet support along with Chiropractic treatment.

Jason Oberem | chiropractor

 

Jason grew up in the Eastern Cape and earned his Master's degree in Chiropractic from the University of Johannesburg in 2022.  Being a sportsman and enjoying playing hockey, squash and rowing Jason has an interest in sports injuries and has worked at Endurocad, The Epic and the World Power Lifting champs. ​Jason is committed to a patient-centred approach. He partners with you to create a personalised treatment plan, ensuring that you achieve the best possible therapeutic outcome and get back to your peak health and performance.

Dr Phil Burnham | chinese medicine & accupuncture

 

Phil is a registered practitioner of Chinese medicine and has a PhD in acupuncture from Malaysia. He is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in Sri Lanka and has a fellowship of the Orthopaedic Acupuncture in America. Phil’s holistic approach to health combines the use of eastern diagnostic approaches and five element treatment. He focuses on postural assessment and lifestyle medicine with herbs and acupuncture to restore balance to internal organs and hormones. Bringing grace to the body structure and de-stress of the mind and spirit.

Lushano Forrsman | massage therapist

 

Lushano is a qualified Sports Massage Therapist with a focus on human movement, recovery, and performance. She has extensive experience at major endurance events such as Cape Epic, Wines2Whales, and UCI World Cup races, continually expanding her expertise and recovery services. At the practice, she treats muscle tension, postural discomfort, movement limitations, and general recovery needs, combining effective hands-on techniques with practical guidance. She is also certified in Pregnancy Massage, offering safe, supportive care throughout pregnancy, labour preparation, and postpartum recovery.

Mike Watson performance & movement

 

Mike thinks out the box when it comes to movement, strength and performance giving his athletes and clients the edge to perform to their full potential while remaining injury free. Mike created the private gym at the practice in 2004 and specialises in one-on-one training programmes. He works closely with RedBull champions and has a client base of professional athletes, cyclists, surfers and ultra-distance athletes.

We are contracted out medical aid, payment is due at the time of the appointment. A full invoice will be issued for medical aid claims and tax purposes. Cash, credit & debits cards, bank EFT or SnapScan are accepted.
